Description

Here's another wallpaper from CATS. This one here is from the Napoleon of Crime himself, Macavity, the Hidden Paw. It was quite difficult to do this one, because i didn't knew which part of the poem and of the music of Macavity I should put in it.
And now, it's time for a history lesson... did you knew that Macavity was based on a character that already existed? That character is Professor Moriarty, the Napoleon of Crime and the enemy of Sherlock Holmes? Plus, along with Macavity, there's another character that was based on Moriarty... Professor Rattigan, from Walt Disney's "Basil the Great Mouse Detective" movie.

At first it was difficult for me to understand what type of villain Macavity was, since I was a kid when I first saw it. The song sounded like it was describing a Mafia boss, while the scary appearances made me think of a nightmare monster. Now that I'm older, I think I can see those Moriarty traits much better :)

And you remember Ratigan. Ten points to Griffindor!! :D Vincent Price once described his character as probably his favorite, among all the villain roles he's voiced!
